Problem phenomenon:

1. Unable to connect Android Auto

2. Android Auto Disconnect Automatically


Solution:

1. Please check whether the infotainment system for the car is compatible with the Android Auto Device. If yes Go to the next step.

2. Check if the USB cable is damaged or connected properly (make sure the original working data cable is connected to the device).

3. Please make sure Android Auto is updated to the latest version on mobile and then check again.

Navigate to the Google Play Store > Click the Right Top side on Google ID > Manage app & Device > Click Update available to check the update if available.

4. Check whether all permissions of Auto Android are enabled in the realme phone. To check the permission please find the below step:

realme UI 3.0 & above versions: Settings > Apps > App management > Click on the at Right Top side > Show System > Android Auto > Permission.

realme UI U edition: Settings > Apps > App management > Click on the at Right Top side > Show System > Android Auto > Permission.

realme UI 2.0: Settings > App management > App List > Click on the ﹕ dots at Right Top side > Show System > Android Auto > Permission.

5. Reconnect the USB cable and enable connection by Clicking on + CONNECT TO CAR  with the below step.

realme UI 2.0 & above versions: Settings > Connection & sharing/ Device Connect > Android Auto > CONNECT A CAR

realme UI U edition: Settings > Connected devices > Connection preferences > Android Auto > CONNECT A CAR

6. Check whether the USB Debugging is enabled in the realme phone. To check the permission please find the below step:

Step 1:

Go to Settings > About Phone/device > Version > Tap 7 times on Version to enter developer mode.

Step 2:

realme UI 2.0 & above versions: Settings > Additional/ System settings/System & update > Developer option > Activate USB Debugging.

realme UI U edition: Settings > System > Developer options > Activate USB Debugging

7. Reset the device and check again. 

8. Please contact the car manufacturer for more help.
