I. Black screen when using a specific third-party app

Causes:

Abnormal third-party app.

Solutions:

1. Please restart the phone and re-install the app in the "Play store", and try again.

For realme device whose factory system is realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) /realme UI 1.0/realme UI R & Go & S & T Edition: press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to restart the phone.

For realme device whose factory system is a realme UI 3.0 (Android 12) and subsequent versions: Long pressing the power button and Volume+ button, the shutdown and restart option will pop up.

2. Test whether the app works normally on other phones. If this issue also happens on other devices, please report it to the relevant app provider.


If the above methods do not solve your problem, please back up your data and go to the nearest realme service center for testing.


II. Irregular black screen or black screen with multiple third-party apps

Causes: 

1. Outdated Phone System

2. Insufficient Storage Space

3. The phone has low RAM

4. Corrupted or Incompatible Memory Card

Solutions: 

1. Please update your phone to the latest version. The new version can achieve a better user experience and system performance.

    realme UI 3.0 & above versions: Settings > About device. Click Up to date/realme UI on the top to check for updates. 

    realme UI 1.0 & 2.0: Settings > Software update

    realme R & Go & U & T & S Edition: Settings > System > System update

2. Clear some storage space on your phone regularly. Tap Clean on the Storage page and select the data you don’t need to delete. You should have at least 20% of free storage space.

    realme UI 3.0 & above versions: Settings > About device > Storage

    realme UI 2.0: Settings > Storage 

    realme UI 1.0: Settings > Additional settings > Storage

    realme R & Go & U & T & S Edition: Settings > Storage

3. Close the background apps that are not in use to ensure that your phone has more than 10% of free RAM, which can improve the loading speed.

4. Take out the SD card and try again.


If the above methods do not solve your problem, please back up your data and visit the nearest realme service center for further assistance.
