If your Bluetooth headphones or charging case aren't charging properly, don't worry. This is usually related to the charging accessories, how the headphones are placed, environmental conditions, or system settings.
The following guide will help you troubleshoot and resolve the issue to get your headphones charging again:
I. Hardware and Connection Check
1. Check charging accessories and connections
Please make sure you are using the original charger and cable that came with your headphones. Third-party or incompatible accessories may not provide power correctly. We recommend trying a different charger and cable that you know work properly to see if the original accessories are the issue.
2. Clean the charging contacts and ports
Carefully check the charging contacts on the headphones, the charging pins inside the case, and the charging port for any dirt, dust, or debris. You can gently wipe them with a dry cotton swab or a soft cloth. If the charging pins in the case seem slightly recessed (pushed in), you can try to carefully nudge them back into place with a toothpick to ensure they make a good connection.
II. Environment and System Optimization
1. Ensure a suitable charging environment
Please charge your headphones in an environment with a temperature between 15°C and 35°C (59°F - 95°F). Extreme cold or heat can affect charging efficiency or prevent charging altogether. Also, note that some power banks may not support "low-current charging" for headphones; we recommend using a standard wall charger instead.
2. Factory reset your headphones
Try restoring your Bluetooth headphones to their factory settings. This can help resolve charging issues caused by software glitches. You can find the specific reset instructions in your product manual or by checking our guide on "How to reset the realme earphones?"
