Problem Phenomenon:
After turning on "Double-tap to wake or turn off screen", you can only "double-tap to wake screen" but not "double-tap to turn off " on the desktop.
Solution:
After turning on “Double-tap to wake or turn off screen”, the “Double-tap to turn off screen” function only works on the lock screen page of the phone. This is not abnormal. If you want to turn off the screen faster, you can use these methods:
1. Enable “Double-tap to lock” for this function.
realme UI 7.0: Settings > Home screen、Lock screen & style > Home screen settings >Double-tap empty space to lock screen
realme UI 3.0 & 4.0 & 5.0 & 6.0: Settings > Home screen & Lock screen > Double-tap to lock
realme UI 2.0: Settings > Home screen, Lock screen & Always-On Display > Double-tap to lock.
realme UI R & S & T & Go Edition: Settings > Display > Lock screen.
Note: Double-tap to lock the screen only works on the blank area of the home screen.
2. Turn on the "Assistive ball", and you can select gesture operations or tap menu as the operation mode.
2.1 Turn on the "Assistive ball" function
realme UI 3.0 & above versions: Settings > System/Additional Settings / Accesssibility & convenience > Assistive Ball
realme UI 2.0: Settings > Convenience tools > Assistive Ball
realme UI R & S & T & Go Edition: Not supported
2.2 Select "Operation Mode"
(a) If you choose gesture operations, you can set any one of "tap", "double-tap" or "touch and hold" to lock the screen.
(b) If you choose to tap menu, just tap the lock screen icon after tapping the assistive ball.
3. Press the power button to turn off the screen.
