How to backup your phone data to computer

1. Back up your phone

Setting path:

realme UI 7.0: Settings > Additional settings/System & updates > Back up & reset > Back up & migrate > Local Backup > New Backup.

realme UI 6.0 & 5.0: Settings > Additional settings/System & updates > Back up & migrate > Local Backup > New Backup.

realme UI 4.0 & 3.0: Settings System/Additional settings > Back up and reset > Back up & migrate > New Backup.

realme UI 2.0: Settings > Additional settings > Back up and reset > Back up and restore > Local backup > New Backup.

realme UI R & Go & S & T & U Edition: Not support local backup


2. Transfer the backup file from phone storage to computer

1. Turn on USB debugging.

Step 1: Settings > About phone/device > Version information > Click the version number 7 times in a row to enter developer mode.

Step 2: realme UI 7.0 & 6.0 & 5.0 & 4.0 & 2.0Settings > Additional settings/System & update > Developer Options > Turn on USB Debugging

realme UI 3.0: Settings > System settings > Developer Options > Turn on USB Debugging.

realme UI R & S & T & Go & U Edition: Settings > Additional settings > Developer Options > Turn on USB Debugging.

2. Connect your phone to your computer with a USB cable.

3. On your phone, choose [Transfer Files] when prompted "Use USB To".

4. On your computer, go to your [Files Explorer> and look for your phone model name, then click [Internal shared storage].

5. Once you are in the Internal shared storage folder, look for the [Backup] file, then right-click and copy and paste the [Backup] folder to your computer(The storage path of subsequent models is updated to: Internal Storage/Android/data/com.coloros.backuprestore/backup).

6. To back up other folders like Photos, Music, Movies, etc., look for the folders you want to back up, right-click, copy, and paste the [DCIM], [Movies], and [Music] folders to your computer.


Note: All data in Phone Storage including Backup will be ERASED when you flash the phone, wipe data, or reset the smartphone to factory settings.
