Problem phenomenon:

The phone charging port or earphone jack is loose.

Causes:

1. The data cable or earphones are not plugged firmly into the phone.

2. The phone’s port is blocked by dust or debris.

3. The phone or data cable’s port is damaged or worn out.

Solutions:

The phone’s port has a certain gap by design and does not affect usage. If the port is too loose and causes problems with charging or transferring, please follow these steps to troubleshoot:

1. Please check if the data cable or earphones are plugged in properly. Sometimes you may need to adjust the angle of the plug to make it work.

2. Use a clean cotton swab or a small brush to gently remove any dust or debris from the phone’s port.

3. Change another data cable or earphones to try. If they work well, it means that the original data cable or earphones are faulty. If they still don’t work, it means that there may be a problem with the phone’s port.

If the above can't solve your problem, please back up your important data on the phone first, then bring your phone and purchase receipt to the nearest realme customer service center for detection.
