Gravity sensor introduction:

The Gravity sensor is what Android calls a 'software sensor' and calculates its values using more than one hardware sensor. The software Gravity sensor is only available if the device has a gyroscope. So if the devices lack a Gyroscope, and thus, will have no Gravity sensor either.

Gyro sensor introduction:

The phone can rotate its screen automatically based on its orientation, thanks to a gyroscope that detects rotational motion and an accelerometer that measures linear movement.

Problem phenomenon:

Gyroscope delay while playing games.

Gyroscope is not working.

Solution:

Scenario 1. If the device does not support the hardware gyroscope sensor( without the Gravity sensor )

If the model does not have a hardware gyroscope, it uses a software gyroscope. When the third-party software uses the gyroscope, the virtual gyroscope data is calculated based on the data of the geomagnetic sensor.

The calculation process takes a certain amount of time. Therefore, there will be a slight delay when shaking the phone while playing games. This is a normal phenomenon.

Scenario 2. If the device supports the hardware gyroscope sensor

Causes:

1. The current network is poor.

2. Too many background programs running on phones.

3. Game settings have been modified.

4. Application exception.

Solution:

1. The current poor network will cause the gyroscope to not respond in time, resulting in delay and slow response. Please use another good network to try again.

2. Background apps occupy too many phone resources, causing gyroscope delays and slow response. You can close background programs that are not needed at the moment.

3. Modifying the gyroscope sensitivity in some game applications will cause delays and slow response. It is recommended that you re-adjust the sensitivity settings in the game.

4. Abnormalities in a single game application will cause gyroscope delays and slow response. It is recommended that you back up your data and then uninstall and install it again.

5. Please check if your gyroscope is normal. Path: Phone Manager > Click on ⠸ > Choose the Diagnostics > Select the Sensor test and unselect the rest of the options > Click on Run Diagnostics > and Follow the instructions.

6. Please update your phone to the latest version to try.

We appreciate your kind understanding in this matter. If the issue remains unresolved, please back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized realme Service Center for assistance.
