Use Personal Hotspot
You can share realme's mobile network or Wi-Fi with other devices using the Personal Hotspot, which is very useful when other devices cannot access the Internet through the Wi-Fi.
1. You can turn on Personal Hotspot in the following ways:
Method 1:
realme UI 7.0: Settings > Mobile network > Turn on Personal Hotspot.
realme UI 6.0 & 5.0 & 4.0 & 3.0: Settings > Connection & sharing> Turn on Personal Hotspot.
realme UI R & Go & S & T & U Edition: Settings > Network & internet > Hotspot & tethering > Turn on Wi-Fi Hotspot.
Method 2:
Swipe down on the status bar from the top of the screen and tap Personal Hotspot in the Control Center.
2. Hotspot settings
Click Hotspot settings on the Personal Hotspot page, and you can perform the following operations:
1. Modify an easily identifiable name by Name, which is easy to find when connecting.
2. Modify the encryption method of the personal hotspot by Security.
3. Facilitate other people's connections by changing the Password.
4. Modify the network frequency band through the AP band.
5. Turn off the Visible to other devices and you can hide your personal hotspot network. Avoid connecting your hotspot to others.
6. Turn on the Wi-Fi 6 hotspot to open a higher-speed hotspot connection
7. After turning on the Automatic turn off personal hotspot, the hotspot will be automatically turned off if there is no device connection within 10 minutes.
1. When the temperature of the phone is high, in order to protect your phone, the hotspot will be automatically turned off (there will be a reminder in the notification bar).
2. The Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) protocol is shared by the personal hotspot. After the Wi-Fi 6 protocol hotspot switch is turned on, the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11.ax) protocol will be shared. If 5G is selected in the AP frequency band, Wi-Fi will be shared. 5 (802.11ac) protocol.
3. Phones that do not support Wi-Fi 6 (802.11.ax) protocol do not have Wi-Fi 6 protocol hotspot function. Devices that do not support Wi-Fi 6 (802.11.ax) protocols cannot search for Wi-Fi 6 protocol hotspots.
