After connecting your phone and a printer that supports wireless printing to the same Wi-Fi, you can print pictures and PDF files saved on your phone.
Connect the phone and the printer to the same local area network in any of the following three ways (wired printers are not supported):
1. The printer is connected to Wi-Fi
Connect the printer to Wi-Fi according to the instructions in the printer's manual. If you have any questions about this step, you can consult the printer manufacturer. Then turn on the Wi-Fi of the phone and connect to the same network as the printer.
Turn on the Wi-Fi function according to the instructions in the printer's manual. If you have any questions about this step, you can consult the printer manufacturer. Then turn on the Wi-Fi of the phone, find the hotspot name of the printer, and connect to this hotspot.
If there is no available Wi-Fi for printing, you can open the phone Settings > Connection & sharing > Personal hotspot, and turn on the Personal Hotspot. Then connect the printer to the phone's hotspot.
2. On the phone, open
realme UI 2.0 & above versions: Settings > Search Print in the search bar > Print, and enable the Default Print Service.
realme UI 1.0: Settings > Other wireless connections > Print, and enable the Default Print Service.
realme UI R & Go & T & U Edition: Settings > Connected devices > Connection preference > Printing, and enable the Default Print Service.
After this function is enabled, the phone will automatically scan most of the current printer brands on the market, so that the phone and the printer can be quickly paired and connected.
Album print
When the phone and the printer are connected to the same local area network, you can find the picture to be printed in the Photos, click to enter the picture homepage and click Send on the lower-left corner. Then enter the pop-up page, and select the page to print. Last, select the corresponding printer and click the print button to complete the picture printing.
My Files print
When the phone and the printer are connected to the same local area network, you can find the PDF files and pictures to be printed in the My Files, long press the file and picture, and then click Send in the lower left corner to enter the pop-up window and click Print. Enter the print page, select Correspond to the printer, and then click the Print below to complete the image and file printing.
Note: If the printer does not support the Default Print Service, you can download the corresponding print service and widgets through Settings > Connection & Sharing > Print > Add Print Services.
