Occasional delays when unlocking your phone from the lock screen are usually caused by a buildup of background notifications, specific settings, or high resource usage because the phone hasn't been restarted recently. This is normal and can be optimized. Please try the following steps to restore smooth performance.
I. Settings and Feature Check
1. Manage Notifications
Having too many unread notifications can cause a delay because the phone has to load a large amount of data the moment you unlock the screen.
Suggestion: Clear old notifications manually. You can also go to Settings > Notification & Status Bar/Notification & Quick setting > App Notifications and turn off notifications for apps you don't use often.
2. Check "System Cloner"
If you have enabled the "System Cloner" feature, the phone needs to load different system resources when switching or unlocking spaces, which may cause a brief delay.
Suggestion: If you no longer need this feature, you can go to Settings > Privacy > System Cloner, tap the menu in the top right corner, and select Delete System Cloner.
II. System Maintenance and Updates
1. Restart Your Phone Regularly
If your phone hasn't been turned off for a long time, system cache files can pile up.
Suggestion: Restart your phone. This effectively clears the background cache, resets the system status, and improves the response speed when unlocking.
2. Update Your System
New system versions often include optimizations for unlocking speed and stability.
Suggestion: Go to Settings > About Device > Click the top card to check for updates and install the latest version to ensure the best performance.
