Problem phenomenon

The realme notebook cannot connect to Wi-Fi or the internet connection is slow.


Problem causes

1. The airplane mode was turned on by mistake.

2. Not choosing the right Wi-Fi.

3. The proxy switch is turned on in the system settings or the DNS is wrong.

4. The network card driver is abnormal or missing.

5. The router or optical modem is faulty.


Solution

1. Please check the network status and check whether the airplane mode is turned on by mistake.

    1) Click the Wi-Fi network icon in the lower right corner, and a list of Wi-Fi networks will appear.

    2) Make sure Airplane Mode is off and Wi-Fi is on.


2. Not choosing the right Wi-Fi

Click to select the appropriate Wi-Fi, and follow the system prompts to connect to Wi-Fi, you may need to enter a password (please enter the corresponding Wi-Fi password to connect).


3. The proxy switch is turned on in the system settings or the DNS is wrong

    1) Click the Win menu > select Settings > Network and Internet > Proxy > Turn off the Use proxy service switch, and click Save.

    2) Click the Win menu > select Settings > Network and Internet > Status > Change Adapter Options > Double-click WLAN > Select Properties > Double-click Internet Protocol Version 4 > Select Obtain IP address automatically, Obtain DNS server address automatically > Click OK.


4. The network card driver is abnormal or lost

    1) Go to System & Driver Download and Update

    2) Click on the laptop to switch the corresponding product (such as realme book enhanced version).

    3) Find the "WLAN" column and download the corresponding system driver.

    4) Downloaded the driver on the computer and start the installation.


5. The router or the optical modem is faulty

Restart the router/optical modem, or replace another router, and try connecting to the laptop again to confirm whether you can access the Internet.

Contact the network provider's customer service, and let the network provider help you remotely diagnose whether the optical modem is connected.


If the driver installation process is abnormal, or you still cannot access the Internet after installing the driver, please back up your data and go to the nearest realme customer service center for testing.
