Touch screen is not working when playing games

Problem phenomenon:

When playing games, the phone does not respond or responds slowly when clicking or sliding the game button.


Causes:

1. The phone is overheated, causing system performance to deteriorate.

2. Power saving mode or low battery causes touch insensitivity.

3. Not enable Touch optimization in Game Assistant.

4. High refresh rate will make game animation smoother

5. Too many apps running in the background of the phone


Solution:

1. Lower the temperature of the phone. It will return to normal after the temperature drops. It is also recommended that you avoid playing games while charging to prevent the device from overheating and affecting your experience.

2. Turn off the power saving mode. If the power of the phone is low, please charge it in time.

Path: realme UI 1.0 & above versions: Settings > Battery > Power saving mode.

realme UI R & Go & S & T & U Edition: Settings > Battery > Power saver.

3. Enable Touch optimization in Game Assistant

realme UI 3.0 & above versions: Open the game > swipe right to call out Game assistant > Touch Optimization > Mistouch prevention > Toggle Notification drawer mistouch prevention > Disable screenshot gesture > Disable split screen gesture

realme UI 2.0 & R & Go & S & T & U Edition: Not supported

If possible, we recommend that you adjust the button to the middle of the screen and adjust the button size.

Path: Game app > Settings > Layout Settings > Custom Layout > Adjust the buttons to the appropriate position.

4. Adjust the screen refresh rateand game frame rate

realme UI 3.0 & above versions: Settings > Display & brightness > Screen refresh rate > High.

realme UI 1.0 & 2.0: Settings > Display & brightness > More > Screen refresh rate> High.

realme UI U Edition: Settings > Display > Screen refresh rate > High .

realme UI R & Go & T & S & U Edition: Not supported

Please set the game frame rate to high frame rate in the game settings.

5. Clean up unnecessary apps

realme UI 1.0 & above versions: Settings > Search for "Process manager" in the search bar > Process manager > Click Deep cleanup.

realme UI S & T & R & Go & U Edition: Not supported
