What is VoLTE?
VoLTE (Voice over LTE) is an IP-based data transmission technology that can make calls on 4G networks. If VoLTE is not enabled, you need to drop the network back to 2G or 3G to make calls. When VoLTE is enabled, it can bring you shorter connection waiting time, higher quality, and more natural voice and video calls.
How to turn on VoLTE?
Please contact your network operator to activate the VoLTE function. Both the primary and secondary card slots of dual-SIM mobile phones support VoLTE. If two SIM cards are used, the VoLTE function can be enabled for both SIM cards.
Note: At present, realme phones have enabled VoLTE function by default, please upgrade your phone to the latest version.
After the VoLTE function is successfully enabled, you can see the VoLTE icon in the status bar of the phone.
How to check the call status as a VoLTE HD call?
You can check whether there is an HD icon on the call interface. If the HD icon is displayed, it means that you are currently in a VoLTE HD call.
