Both strong light and laser may damage the camera, and direct and continuous irradiation will damage the microlens on the surface of the sensor and cause color cast. In addition, it may cause the camera's sensor to "burn". Because overheating of the sun may burn out dots on the CMOS (sensor). Therefore, it is not recommended that you use the camera to take photos with strong light or laser light.
